4-Day Amboseli Elephant Safari
Elephants, wetlands and Kilimanjaro views in Amboseli.
Kajiado County, Southern Kenya
Amboseli National Park is celebrated for large elephant families and the classic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Swamps fed by underground meltwater create green oases where elephants, buffalo, hippos and waterbirds gather.
The park is relatively compact, making game drives efficient and rewarding. Beyond wildlife, Amboseli offers cultural encounters with Maasai communities who live around the park boundary.
Photography is exceptional at sunrise and late afternoon when soft light hits Kilimanjaro and the savannah.
June–October is typically dry and excellent for viewing. January–February can also be clear. November and March–May bring more rain and greener scenery; Kilimanjaro views are weather-dependent year-round.
